Top Five Tips for Better Sleep
Good sleep is a vital contributor to adrenal health. The following are some tips to help improve your sleep and your adrenal health. Five tips for better sleep:

  1. Avoid alcohol within 3 hours before going to bed. It is better to have a glass of wine with dinner than close to bedtime.
  2. Consistent sleep hours- It is best to try and go to sleep at the same time daily and get up at the same time. Falling asleep by 10:30 pm is best as falling asleep after 11 pm does not promote quality sleep. Getting around 8 1/2 to 9 hours in bed is good for your body.
  3. Avoid caffeine after 2 pm.
  4. Avoid interactive screens (iphones, ipads, tablets) right before bed as these can be stimulating and make it harder to fall asleep.
  5. Meditate and or journal before bedtime to help relax and prepare your body for sleep.
